i almost felt asleep standing on a super-delayed-super-crowded bus. maybe i did fall asleep for a split second then i intuitively woke up in case i faint on somebody. eco days are always more draining.

i guess sometimes we are just so caught up with meeting expectations that we forget what we really want. or do we even know what we are working so hard for beyond all these expectations?

the weather has been fortunately or unfortunately windy xD i haven't touched my air-con remote for almost 2 months (i have no idea where it is now) and i had to dig out my bridge wind breaker ystd (it has finally been wore for the right weather xD) i can hear wind chimes from the opp block :D above all these, i like the feeling of wind blowing :D all thanks to global warming -.-"

but when u have a stack of paper on the table, tutorials or other stuffs, and u get up to do sth else and POOF.. you have to start doing real paper chase xD so now i have to put weights on all the loose papers b4 i can get up to do sth, if not they will be all gone b4 im back xD

another thing is that skirts have twice the probablity to be blown up nowadays.. xD we should start wearing shorts underneath...e_e

whoa u blogged earlier than me xD when i opened my eyes today it was almost 12 alr..i guess my body is recovering from the sleep-deprived, brain-frying 2 days..>< hehehe

lol i love you too p! our improvement made me realize how noob we were omg >< our last min mugging paid off kae! all the conventions we learnt only 1 or 2 days before the competition...we used -ve dbl, takeout dbl, stayman, jacoby, cuebid raise and RKC! must use the rest next time kae ^^ our improvement + our teammates (who are better than us) + our TYCOness =5th place! our 3NT game and 4H game (when i counted my points wrongly) and all the rest of our tyconess! it was "thrilling" isn't it ^^ and gossiping and oogling sessions when we were sitting out was great fun too xD (eric u can go get a cool black jacket :P)

we'll train harder next year p, yea? :D

anwwww these two days were supperrr fun but super super damn tiring =/

i loveee you p xD we made helllot of mistakes but in the end it's bcos of those mistakes that the games were fun :D i love the crazyyy biddings muahahha 4S, 3NT and 4H huh xD yea well like eric said today is a sunday for us hahha. but we did greeeaaat okay i'm especially v happy with last night's 2nd last round cos we didnt lose by too much x) and hah we got to roll eyes at those ppl who thought we cmi alr like A CERTAIN SOMEBODY WHO KEPT SCOLDING US (at least i did). sweeeet! the oogling at a certain guy *COUGH* was a bonus lols. promise we'll prac regularly from now on hahah. we improved alotalot in such a short period of time (ie. 2 days) it was amaaziing xD we'll do greeaaat next year! must win some cash k muahahahh xD

tada! this will be my organizer for 2009 :D

went orchard with char today to shop for marj's bday present.. first we went kino where i bought my organizer. it costs me 30 bucks! if not for the 25 dollar-voucher i got from og for bday, i really wouldn't buy it >.< i was flipping through it just now and it contains really interesting stuffs lol. it's called HAPPY DIARY [ + BEAUTY] and the slogan is "Happy Diary will help you become the person you want to be." lol. so other than ur personal data, there is a page on ur future goals in aspects of relationship, studies, savings and personal growth xD then u have to describe ur dream house and there is even space for u to draw lol! there are monthly reflections and resolutions xD the behind part is even more amusing.. like weight control graphs! tsubo message for health, easy exercises, food calorie chart, calories burnt in exercises, birth flower & birth stones, aromatherapy, languages in the world, time differences, dream fortune telling!, feng shui! woa right? the rest would really come handy if you live in japan..stuffs like postal rates, mrt maps, telephone guide, size guide and ect... ops sry for the spam lol i was really amused by the comprehensiveness of the organizer..it even has a user's manual..

anw it will accompany me for my last year in jc before uni :)

so coming back to shopping for marj's present xD it totally failed at first ><>< we ended up trying nail polish, caps and shades! cos we couldn't find the thing we wanted to buy in orchard (shall not reveal what it is in case U r reading this :P) we then decided to try bugis and guess what?! we met lem on the mrt! it was so coincidental..same time same carriage xD at first i saw somebody reading economist, then before i knew it i went "lemuel?!" me and char laughed until we tearted lol!

OH forgot to mention..we saw a super cute jap boy while eating in Mos...he is soo adorable! one more handsome guy in the future :D

and my mum just bit my chocolate-looking/smelling eraser i got for eve! she asked " can eat?" so i went "yea".. "then y u put on the table?" she asked. i didn't reply and b4 i knew it she went to bite it! LOL lucky i stopped her >< hahaaa dont worryy i cleaned her saliva! xD

and finally mission was accompolished at bugis!

last night in Perth :(

actly the first week passed quite slowly cos we were having lectures from 8am to 4pm excluding lunch time. but once the non-academic trips started, time flies like crazy!

we had bbq today for dinner. at first i thot we must diy but when me and char reached there, everyone started eating alr! we were like "eh y they prepare so fast?!" and then we saw a chef bbqing for everyone! so coool. the bbq is much nicer than the bbq in singapore! xD

and the highlight of today was......i threw lem's Koala into the dustbin! xDxDxD i swear it wasn't on purpose! i am soooo sorry cherie! (he is giving it to cherie xD) i just wanted to fake throw but the Koala somehow left my hand and the next second it half landed on the dustbin brim and somersaulted into the bin! xD paisehh! gomenasai!

had isle outing today yay <3 my gpmates :D i miss spending 24/7 with themmm. and the kids.
and happy b'day nicole! ate at kfc for lunch as i predicted, stoned at the function room in toon's hse for few hrs playing cards and watching abit of walle, then went to j8 to watch four christmases. by then only felnicolenigeltoon and i were left. movie was good! for a romance comedy anw :D its fuunnnyyyy. but nicole kept saying its v sad lol oh wells.
ate dinner at thai express like wow right =.= but black pepper crayfish glass noodles was good yay! gossiping session with nigel and nicole was great duh hahah.

watched madagascar2 ytd its darn cute and funny lah <3333s i think its much better than the first one yay x)

kinda packed alr.. going off to indo tmr afternoon flight. meeting eric in the morning. hope my luggage's not overweight.

Blessing in disguise :)

we just came back from movie. actly it is a documentary. the wind, the atmosphere, the environment, the sky, the stars and ofc the documentary was NICE. sorry abt my earlier complains >< we stayed throughout the movie and i cried 3 times :..(

it's s about old people forming a choir and putting in their all to it. 2 of the members passed due to their illnesses but the rest continued and completed the performance wonderfully :) it may sound boring but it is really touching and they sing reallly well (the oldest was 80+! and yeaa they look really old).

i had low expection and i have greater happiness now :) this is gooood.

and still there is nobody online. i shall go watch house then xD

i am super duper bored today!!! alot of free time.........and nobody is online! shuna evelyn where r u?! me and char were bored till we started playing taboo with a storybook...so i will choose a page a line and eg the 5th word from tt line. then she will describe the word with chinese and i am supposed to guess...the game turned out to be a failure >.< annwww conclusion i am bored.

we are forced into watching a movie called young at heart at the outdoor theathre at uwa..and we paid 9 aussie dollars for it! ><>< outdoor theatre sounds like a cool idea but that also means we will get hell lot of mozzie bites! i alr have 7 on one calf :( anw we are thinking of ways to sneak away later.. heh.

i am totally growing horizontally. FAT. i ate 2 and a half cake just now xD the cake is not big btw. xD when i said i was full, lemuel went "you know why you are full? cos you just ate 2 and a half chunk of fats!" grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. i think between greedy and vain i am more on the greedy side now, sadly. i will shift my balance when i go back. i promise! ><

HELLOOO evelyn is back in singapore.. sadly =(

thailand was greeeeaaaat i miss moo ban dek alott omg. our trip got cut short by 6 days because moe wanted us to fly back immediately grawrr. we were going to take 10+ hrs train to penang then fly back =.= lucky they arranged sia plane for us :D:D
was supposed to take the 2pm flight from an airbase at pattaya ytd, but no space for us somehow then we had to wait for the 7pm flight. and since it is an old airport only open for use bcos the bangkok one is closed there was no air-connd room for us to wait in. so we sat on the grass like some refugees. the place was so crowded la =.= i think we're on TV ytd :D:D cool hehs.
and the queue was maaad they had to handwrite everything which explains why we had to start boarding 2.5 hrs bfore the plane took off.

but yay to SIA its so much better than tiger airways! no more budget airplanes for me thx. so we departed from budget terminal (which looks like a kindergarten, srsly) and arrived back in singapore in T3! how cool! and moe paid for SIA duh x)

food was good ate a lot loh. its a miracle i didnt gain weight. must be all the running around and kilang-ing the kids. and climbing the waterfall! damn fuun too bad we couldnt swim. i miss my buddy a lot a lot =( eventho he's super annoying and all he did was tease me and called me pig he's a v nice kiiid sigh. then there's dongpai the super cute pretty girl :D and then there's chob who asked me for my name like 4 times within 2 hrs. short term memory la he xD

anw isle team thailand '08 rocksss eventho our trip was cut short and we didnt get to go for shopping spree sigh MBD was greaaat. i miss bunkmates! i even miss the bugss. okay maybe not. we're going back there next year yeah? i will miss allll of u cool peeps cant wait for chalet and outing!

buddy ie the monkey! who liked to steal my bridge windbreaker from me cos it was super cold the last few days we were there but he didnt have a jacket. and he dirtied it! nyeh. i think he was trying hard not to cry in this pict =( huuuggs.

nothing much today lol. arrived at airport took a "2-hr bus ride" to St Catherine's College. went to our own rooms. one room each. it's not bad :)..some students are here still at boarding and we went ard exploring! the things they paste on their doors quite interesting lol. and Perth has purple trees :D

i have been a 宅女 for the 3rd consecutive day :(
thought of going gaigai myself or going ecp to breathe some fresh air but i just carn get my butt out of the house >< going out alone gives me no motivation -.- everytime i wanna get dressed to go out, i'll just say "okay forget it" in the end. and i hate myself for being like this. grr.

actly it's not tt sad. i am having 二人世界 at home everyday! he is sleeping currently..haha he is a cute adorable boy who likes to scratch me once in a while (domestic abuse!) we hug we cuddle and nooo we dont kiss o.O his ears are smelly and he is too hairy for his own good..but wdv i still love u <333 btw i posted his photo in my earlier entry..handsome yea? :P

while i was crapping..ext h3 application results were out! i must be ,if not the first, at least among the first 5 to know the results..not alot of ppl are free to stare at the com on a friday night u see.
and tada surprise! both ntu and nus accepted me! hmm this is unexpected lol. so it's not as hard as i thought. my heart was actly beating faster when i clicked on the mail xD and now i can finally safely happily ditch Graph Theory! NUS Linear Algebra will be it :D and i am gonna survive it! but going down to Clementi twice a week does not sound like a good idea >.<

packed my luggage today since i was too free. actly i only packed the clothes part which made up most of the luggage anw..i know it's weird but i kinda enjoy packing xD

uhm. very happening weekend x) sat went to watch wanted.. movie supp to start at 9.20 but delayed until 10.15 cos of "technical fault" but YAY free movie pass planning to watch get smart with it yay x) and its a good thing i live in bishan so i didnt needa cab home and spend 10+ bucks. so the free movie pass is still free hahah.

saw the Singapore flyer moving ystd. finally. u have to really stare at it hard and dont blink ur eyes for 1 min as someone said. had been trying to spot its motion since monday but only caught it ystd from the same bus i try to observe from everyday.

cockroach inside the room. i spent 1 whole hour sitting on my bed, hugging my knees, staring at the cat which was glaring at the cockroach. thx to cat (not the cat -.-) my saviour who came down to rescue me ><

it's like you are nearing to falling down but struggle to find the balance to stand back up right. the cockroach is just there to end this struggle earlier. it's like ur heart is nearing its defence limits, and the cockroach just broke down the last brick that can protect it. if only sorrow can flow out of the body like tears.

U_U one of the days that i carn sit down and do something constructive..not even constructive slacking :( worst kind of feeling: u have time but u donno how to use it and u donno what u want to do and time just ticks by..but when u have a whole list of things u really want to do, u have no time :(

OH OH OH and MUST BE BIG KAE!!!! LARGE SIZE LARGE SIZE!!!!!

getting lost in two consecutive days. how great. and how smart of me.

CO concert: me eve eric and lyd got out of the panjang pagar mrt without knowing where on earth is singapore conference hall. so they followed me and i followed my instinct O.o best decision ever xD in the end, we deperately squeezed ourselves into a taxi which cost us abt 5 bucks to get to the place. and guess what -.- IT IS THE BUILDING WITH THE TREBLE CLEF THAT I SAW FROM THE MRT. ;aslkjfdlkdfj we can also see the mrt from there. good job ><

exoro demo round: the venue was MYMCA. bolding and redding the M is so not enough :\ MYMCA and YMCA are different. they differ by 5 bucks >< i stupidly took a bus from newton after cip thinking that yay i've got a straight bus there -.- and i stupidly waited outside ymca building thinking i was early coz no one was there. and then my grp mate called saying they were inside the room and he offered to come out and fetch me. and then we were both outside the building and could not see each other. lol WRONG PLACE. ;alskfj;dlkas; cab again ..

stupidity aside xD met my grp members there for the first time ^^ kevin and dhruv. sry i missed the briefing and was totally blur almost throughout.. heh..

went to scba to play bridge yesterday,
results were quite bad, we got 3rd last place and not the last place only cos there were some hc n00b pair playing and andyalvin screwed up. not much difference from getting the last place.
sigggggghhh die alr. competition on thurs >< baaaaah. oh wells.

went lib to mug today, only managed to finish math tut 6. i rawk yeay.
brought chem and econs notes along but i didnt even touch them. leaving them for tomorrow i guess.

i think michael's case is damn severe he really doesn't realise there are ppl around him sometimes.
or maybe it's just me =(
but he's so cute he'd tap tap then say 'can you please draw this for me? i want a monkey! a big big one, not a small one!' or 'im tiiiiiiirrrreeed can you colour the monkey for me?' hahah. then he'll talk to himself while drawing. things like 'youuuu caaannttt giiiiivee uuuuuppp!!!' and 'we neeeeed yooou maaax! doont gooo!!!' whoever max is. hahah sounds damn cartoon.
and he saw swords on the table then he was like staring into my eyes and said over and over again "i need the ___ (insert word, that sword carrier thing, i forgot what he called it), then i can carry the sword and kill the monsters! i need it! i really really need it!" i was like "there's no monster here you dont needa kill anything -_____________-"
then qin xiang came and started hugging me lawwl (omg so cute so cute so cute xD) then michael was still saying he needed the thingy, like i could magically get it for him or stg. then qin xiang decided that i was too tall to hug (MUAHAHAHHAHAH) and started hugging the whining michael, it was so hilarious xD

went out to eat lunch with the houseowners today, and i realised that they're a bunch of reallllly interesting peepz xD
we went to some hainanese restaurant, then i found out that the uncle is from hainan, and he kept on talking to the waitresses (who are from hainan as well) in that language and we were like O____________O cos all of us didn't understand.
and when we finished eating he just stood there and continued chatting animatedly with the waitresses. like hahha.
then the auntie got bored waiting and started queuing up for the lottery next door xD
then she asked me to go fill in the TOTO/ 4D form thingo.
so jeff and i, being n00bs at this kinda thing, were like huh how the hell do you fill in this thing.
and the auntie said aiya just write down 4 no la. then jeff zao xD
so i was like. okay fine then i anyhow write xDxD eh cool right! if the no really zhong on wed i'll be like ._______________. but who knows im a lucky person you see muahahhaha
and she also bought the system 7 no thingo
and the whole thing cost like 30+ bucks.
but it's so fun! hahha i dunno the whole idea is so fun xD

and then we had to drag uncle out of the restaurant, where he was still talking to the waitresses hahahahh.

i think that restaurant will become one of his fav. from now on. hmmm.
the food isn't even that good, but then again maybe that's cos i dont really like chicken.

yay. finally received the letter from my beloved ex-roommate who went japan last year :*(time flies faster than me, she is in jap for 1 whole year alr! her letter was jap chi eng mixed (mostly chi) XD and her handwriting is illegible at times...i was trying to figure out if it was chi or jap character...but still i felt nostalgia reading her letter :) mmmm i miss her <3

hmm..let me recall wat i did today.

morning: woke up at 11. sleeping is great. 睡到自然醒 is such a luxury. having to wake up at unearthly hours 5 out of 7 days is such a pain in the neck >< sry tt i am such a pig. come to think of it, i should treasure my 2 out of 7 days since some people may not even get 1 out of 7 :)

tuition: she is cute bubbly and adorable. yes. but she is best at pissing me off. xD rawrr. i seriously think that i do not get pissed easily. by pissing off i dont mean i'll scream and shout at her. my patience is really bad so i guess she is there to train my patience. ><

one random day when i came home late, the condo gate was closed. the security guard goes home at 8.30om. i had to call home so someone can come down to open the gate. the conversation goes like this:

me: hello
her: hello! 晓菲姐姐！你回来啦！
me: 是啊, 可以下来帮我开门吗？
her: hmm...我不想下去eh..我告诉你哦，今天我......(she went on to talk abt wat happened to her that day ><)
me: hm..hm..哦。那可以下来开门吗？

i am super full from eating junk food.
and i am tired from laughing too much (really too much).
15 min of continuous uncontrolable laughter requires more energy than doing 40 situps kae xD

at first i was laughing becoz of stupid mistakes we made during bridge. then i continued laughing coz i could not stop laughing. and i continued laughing due to the fact that i couldn't stop laughing. and i continued laughing coz i was trying to talk but i was laughing uncontrolably and so the words did not come out. basically i laughed for no good reason. haha it felt good! last time i had this was hmmm..one year ago at least. haah felt totally drained after laughing but worth it anw :)

edit: i rmbed one more reason for laughing! haha..coz i was laughing and my brain was lacking in oxygen so i couldn't play bridge properly. made even more stupid misktakes. and tt makes the whole thing a vicious cycle ><><
